Carbon splitter

I'm thinking about trying to find or make a DTM style splitter to go under the o/e LCR splitter.
Has anyone else tryed this if so do you have any pics or links.
I recon a carbon fibre one would quite good

I have enough problems keeping the OE splitter off the floor, speed bumps, kerbs etc.. No chance would I want a more expensive one underneath. Even a replacement OE splitter in Carbon would put me off. I like the way they can be replaced fairly inexpensively. I doubt many would like to fork out £40 plus for a carbon version each time it's scuffed to death.

IIRC, RobDon had a copy LCR splitter made up in carbon.

Problem is, anything down there won't last long (not so much of a problem if it's a cheap dealer part but you'd be less than happy if it's an expensive carbon part).

send a pm to arosaracer. he had a seat sport carbon splitter on his red LCR, it looked awesome but he took it off after because it was very close to the road.

waste of money mate, it won't last a week. every lcr has a scraped splitter, if that was carbon it wouldn't scrape it'd break into a thousand tiny pieces.

yep and carbon against tarmac is'nt a nice noise i can tell you, 50p laying in road? Bye bye splitter just not worth it
