ANOTHER coilovers thread

Hello,

Hope you're all well.

Anyway, coilovers. Want to spend about £500. Want damping adjustability as well as ride height adjustability.

Handling is the name of the game, but I also want the ability to deck it to teh flo' when she's being a show car *****.

Seen some FK's which meet the above brief for around £450 but I've heard mixed reviews on their handling abilities.

Wanna be 90mm+ at the shows by the way.

Many thanks,

Alex

My fk's don't have damping adjustment only height but bar the soft springs i can't fault them

They've got a few track days under their belt now aswell and have been fine so far

Telford ay it...
The thing i was getting at is I doubt you would get damping adjustable FK's for £450 ;)

I had the silverlines, they were decent. Easy to adjust as they have stainless bodies, just abit soggy when run low.

Mig had GAZ coilovers on his, there pretty smart, 24 point adjustable damping, zinc coated and about £550 for a set, not sure on the max drop though!

Also what about Weitec aren't their fully adjust able ones about the same?

wreck the balancing of your driveshafts so they dont perform properly and rumble at speed?

I'm tempted for the Weitecs now. Not sure 65mm will look low enough on my show wheels though

I know a few people that have had them on Golf's and rave about them, good quality stuff (there basically cheaper KW's) got deposit down on a set from a bloke on here, should have the cash next weekend so will be on the car soon, cannie wait mon a car with proper handling and ride again :funk:
