Hi there,

JBS can supply your friend a new K03s turbo and the cost will be £605+VAT outright. Alternatively a hybrid unit capable of 300BHP is available for £1250+VAT. We can either supply or fit and fitting will be £180+VAT.

Kind regards

Alec

yeah any graphs ? I didnt realise JBS did a hybrid k03s!

Thats a good price for a turbo capable of 300bhp..

How much extra (apart from the turbo and fitting) would it cost to get my stage2 k03s custom code re-done for this turbo ?

I was hoofing it round a corner the other day, and powering out. Greeted by flashing traction control lights and pointless wheelspin (mapped LCR).

I never thought it about it that much before. But at that moment, it really hit home. 250BHP+ in a normal fwd hatch is pretty much a waste of time. I'm sure a standard LCR, or maybe even a LC would of been able to exit that corner and accelerate away at the same speed as me.

It saddens me :(

Except of course for motorway overtakes...

Yeah too much power on fwd is pretty useless, all you'll get is lots of wheelspin & tc coming in all the time. Unless you have a motorway duel with a dirty :rifle: civic type r (sorry for swearing).
