Just thought i'd post a few photos of what we've been doing, i say we as i havent done a great deal of the work myself, most of it has been done by Jonzy with a bit of help from me (not much tho).

New parts...

Quaife Diff
3.684 Final Drive
Lightened and balanced ABF flywheel (6kg's)
New parts in box, seals, bearings, syncros, oil, etc...
Spec Stage 3 Clutch
BlackForest Engine Mounts
Battery Relocation

Using the most ghetto engine lift EVER. Asked my old man if we had one, said yeah we got one, me thinking some decent and we end up with this, a jumped up tent pole with guide ropes! Kinda glad we used it now as we have another proper engine crane now to take the block out to fit the box, mounts and clean up anything else i fancy.

First cut of the day award goes to Jonzy, the crazy barsteward, good work fella.

Scangauge 2 fitted (not fixed as everyone is borrowing it to check fault codes, so excuse the blutak. lol)

Someones been a busy boy

Why are you fitting a diff? Are you upping the power on yours?

I bet it drives nice now?

The guy who done my flywheel is doing the box, had a bit of a problem with it to start with, he built up the diff an FD into a freshly painted casing to find out the 02A and 02J casing are exactly the same apart from 3 bolt holes at the bottom. Never mind, mines being cleaned and painted as well, should get it all back to put in the car on sunday.

I'm building everything on the car to get ready for any decent power in the future. Bottom end is built with JE pistons and scat rods, but i might look to build a head in the future.

Yeah they do, easy enough to do. The shifter is held down by a 10mm nut i think.

Pics and a guide on the battery relocation would be good. Something I want to do and a few others have asked about so would be good. Go on phil you know you want to!

Rear discs are plain ATE's that have been grooved. The groove depth are minimum thickness off the disc. So when the groove disappears its time to change the disc.
