I bought a cupra r bodykit off ebay about 4 months ago and still havent fitted it due to a crash and funds...

I am seriously starting to consider whether I have made the right move or not getting it off ebay?

Has anybody done this already? searched the forum but cant find anyone who has done this... maybe for good reason?!

What does everyone think about this?

Thanks

is it a replica kit then? I've read the fitment isnt great but you never know you might be lucky. If its genuine then you should be fine

JamesL, yeh it is a replica kit. Told by the person who sold it to me it will be fine and know someone who will fit it and spray the whole car white for £1500 and he works in an accident repair centre so has the stuff to make it fit.

£1500 for a whole car respray sounds very cheap to me..... and that's without fitting the kit as well...

If you get it for that price, and it's a good job, can I get their number ;) ??

Just contemplating whether to stick with the fibreglass replica kit I have, or buy used genuine parts...

i have reverted back to standard now ;) but i used phillips blue vision, cost the earth and looked ok, the standard bulbs that come with my ultra lights that are blue and shine white are the best i think, they give a white light.

have you got genuine ultras or ebay jobbies,

RickC, did a search but cant find it anywhere. love how you have smoothed the rear doors. how did you go about doin this? Is it as simple as smoothing them and placing a button in the dash to open them?

anyone else done this?
