Opinion needed re reflector

Quick question,do they make smoked reflectors rather than solid black ones? I ask as the girl goes in soon for various bits n i've decided to go black touches on kiwi,so black repeaters(smoked) black calipers,black angel eyes,black badges,yet to decide whether to lose the "s" n then gloss white multispokes. However the dilemma is red rear reflector,keep or go black to match up or can it be sprayed as Mig did with his rear lights. Think this will throw the whole streamline out otherwise but will be grateful of your opinions???

Also,just to say my TA's..ibiza specific not polo ones will be delivered next few days £167 all in,damn bargain i say At that price can upgrade em later in year if no good!!

Go back where??? you mean black,hehe? I dunno,i'd prefer smoked to straight black if can be done, match rear lights n repeaters....i know it's about personal taste n not pleasing everyone else but deffo don't want mish mash of colours.

Hids getting sorted at same time as everything else,brakes service,window reg replacement,coilies on,calipers painted etc the list goes on. Could probably get Dad to do a load of it n help outbut while she's in may as well get all out the way.....nice bill coming my way!!

Yeah lazy cow,whilst the wheels are off may as well....thinking i best get a roughish guestimate first even though he was v.reasonable for my lamda sensor,well i thought so...n Pops knows him.I'm getting everything so only labour but then that's the expensive bit!!

spose you *might* be able to smoke the red one down a bit by using the same kind of stuff thats used on rear lights.. the black ones are just solid plastic, so unless you paint it/them, not a lot you can do,,tbh

less is more route be best as they are smoked to a degree anyway but a tint of smoke would be good and different but the whole black BLACK for lights is just asking to get pulled and is a biatch to get off (taken me 2 years of scrubbing)

if you do go dark remember the reflector part is supposed to stay clean or plod will just give you grief and after a few months the sprayon stuff goes matt and looks like roadgrime anyway

here's an example of what i would say looks just right in that respect

That's what i thought,think i'll do everything else first n review at that stage,can't see me wanting it as it is tho! I don't have the patience for spraying it whatever,better be nice to Dad or anyone with patience n a steady hand That said still don't know if they do actual"smoke" spray n if looks naff any way of getting it off??? Don't need a Top Gear paint job

ye same here - just using the lights as examples as the red ones are pretty much light style lensed anyway

personally - i'd keep the red and lightly smoke that and the lights to match

be a chav, use ur old tights and put them over the reflector.

i remember a chav/ned/yob did it on his clio to save himself £15 in tint spray lol

can tell your the same age as me then lol

foliatec i believe still make one but you'll need some restraint to keep it lightly covered

i'd do lights/reflector all together and spray lightly from a distance
