Hi Everyone.
now i had the front bumper off at the weekend to fit the splitter and it looks brillient, Thanks very much to mikey and his brother for there help in the matter. but when we took the bumper off I could see the FMI and the pipeing from it, There is a small support on the bumper and where this goes the pipe from the intercooler reduces to about 4-5 CM this looks like a miassive restriction.

Does anyone know where i can get a standard pipeing kit from for the TDI Cupra?

I would post a pic of the pipe but Mikey has them all, but i am sure all cupra owners will know what i am talking about :)

Looks like you can piece one together. Would be nice to have a one piece pipe for the whole thing.

I see you dont have a crash bar? I assume your talking about the top pipe coming off the FMIC.

Allards have some piping kits that you can use to replace the less than ideal SEAT stuff.

The crash bar was in the process of being fitted, along with the bumper shortly after :D But yes I was talking about the top pipe, why? is it different on the cupras?

he's taling about the plastic one on the top that comes under the headlight.

To be honest for all the fannying around i doubt its worth bothering. There is easier power to be made elsewhere in the system than there.

Overall nobody has managed to produce a better FMIC for the ibiza yet. I personally in the interests of keeping it reliabel would stick to what SEAT spent shite-loads of money developing. It did'nt end up that shape by mistake.
