was driving home on friday night on m5, not really sure if i hit standing water or had a blow out. Was changing lanes from inside lane to middle lane car pulled to the right span around hit the centre reservation then span about 10 times before i could coast it off motorway. I'm gutted. Police said i was lucky. Nothing else involved.

based on value of car and amount of damage, thats gonna be a right-off for sure, theres got to be well over 3k minimum of cosmetic bits there, let alone any damage underneath, so based on value of the car its gonna be gone for sure

Ouch looks nasty, but then again with todays cars doesn't take too much of an impact to do that kind of damage. How fast were you going? must have been scary as hell I would have thought.

Quick question though, did the side air bags go off?? the ones in the drivers/passengers seats.

sorry to hear about the car mate. Def a right off and its a little scary that a few people have had bumps in the last few days. Glad your ok and hope you have a nice payout so can get yourself another one.
Think i need to be more careful, roads are lethal at the moment with this standing water.
God help us if it gets below freezing with all the standing water about!!!

So far you've been told its a right-off 7 times.. im sure by now you have the point.. feeling for ya chap. still u can pick the cars up quite cheap now-a-days so maybe a payoff and new "second hand" car for you. glad your ok if not a little shaken (spun)
