I'll try me bestest to explain, what do you call those large plier type thingies that you would use to undo (and fasten) the strong galvanised clip that holds the air hose to the air filter housing ?, a prize for the first correct answer :D, i've just been Googling and can i knackers find them.

What you need is a set of footprints, a plumbing tool really, but I found them just the job for undoing mine. One tip though, don't take the clip off the hose and let go, its a cow to get back on, as the clip ends move so much it makes replacement difficult.
I took mine off when I fitted my tuning box and then removed it before I had a full remap.
