T/C light coming on

when my fellas car was doing this, same fault in vagcom and logging didnt come as anything, he checked the intercooler piping and found a hole got it fixed and it didnt come on again, just a thought

he didnt have any boost reading problem???

finally the new maf arrived!!!

the TC light is still coming but now only at 4th gear wot and not all the times.

from seat they told me that it could be the remap (ex. the car was mapped with faulty maf) BUT the same day that the car went for remap the owner bought a new maf...

mystery keeps going on....

today i hooked the n249 back... of course nothing has changed...

mine is still really random when it does it, never did it at all last nite and i was hammering it, so not sure whats going on with it

I was going to say if the only vagcom errors are for the MAF then its going to be that..

hey ppl my tc lite is on from start up, wont tern off! would i lose power if the maf senser was f**ked? had it on the rollers and it seems fine still pulling 162bhp on standerd boost??? with the lite on

TC light is not ONLY for maf, check DTC with vagcom

yes, as if i run from stand still to 210kph my light doesnt come on... then i run a wot with 2nd gear and pops up... or a 3rd or 4th gear wot run and nothing comes up (even with 1.6bar overboost)

this is very weird, the explanation of seat (remap with fooked maf = low g/s limit) would be correct if the light was coming in every wot run but it doesnt....

ps. j220 = Engine Control Module (right harness in ECU, i think)
