Ok so after my 110 bhp TDi i got my 180 Sport.. and today was the day i got my 210 R!! yey!! lol.. however, its got a nokia hands free kit fitted to it and im wanting to remove it, any ideas how? the holder for the phone clips in *bheind* the air vent, how can i get this out?

If the center is anything like the side vents then you just carefully work your way around the edge with a small flat bladed screwdriver and prise it out a bit at a time. Start on the left hand side and work to the right. It should pop out.

I had a brodit mount just like that one - it is just clipped onto the vent, although there is some double sided foam as well.

Just pull the top upwards/outwards, it'll come off.

Cheers for your advice "feel", done exactly what u said, and it broke my car.. na not really worked a treat spot on even down to the foam... if it wernt for the fact i had to cut the wires i'd of posted it to you as a spare!

usually the phone control box is found behind the glove box. Usually its twist the phone cradle and remove it, unscrew the base from the trim and follow the cables behind the glove box and either cable tie it up and leave it there or remove the cables from the black nokia box.
