Brake Pad Warning Light

Could someone confirm what the brake pad warning light looks like.

A warning light, which I suspect to be the brake pad warning light, came on this morning in my LCR and I don't have the manual with me.

The sensor in the pads is also not the most accurate, people have had the light come on a little early. Best to whip the wheels off with a free brake check or yourself and have look.

Recommend some Ferrodo DS2500's as replacements ;)

The pads were getting low, I'd been aware of this for a while, and they've done 27.5k miles so I don't think I'll get much more out of them.

I've already contacted Bill about the DS2500's

Good to see someone else is getting good mileage out of their pads on the LCR. I got ripped into when I said I have, so far, done 24K miles on my current set of front pads!

Mind you, the same people who say a set of front pads last 12K miles are the people who get only 250 miles out of a tank of fuel...could be a correlation... :p

I think you're right, I used to average 34-35mpg and regularly got more than 400 miles per tank, though that has gone down slightly now that I am doing more town driving.

I get around 400 miles from a full tank of V-Power, drive mainly A-roads to/from work.

Record is 440 miles on a steady m-way cruise 70-80mph.
