Just back from a quick blast in the LCR today and with the cold temperatures was driving like a rocket - the car is standard bar a green filter and Milltek catback - it got me thinking though, if its this fast just now then it would just be ballistic with a remap[B)] - do you guys feel that the LCR/LC is not fulfilling its true potential without a remap as thats what I am starting to believe!? - may have to look into this again:rolleyes:

hi mate, i know your talking bout petrol but with my remap on my diesel, when standard at 110 i thought it was quick compared to my little vtr but since having it mapped its a different adventure, get a remap done

REMAP IT!
you won't regret it! a remap is how they should come out of the factory.

Yep couldnt agree more
Power is much better amd fuel consumption doesnt really suffer if anything maybe slightly better.
If your still undecided you can put a free REVO 5 hour trial map on your car.
You will need to upgrade the o/e DV as the o/e ones cant handle the extra boost

DO IT !!!!! ;)

Re-map?

YES!!!!!

You will get maybe 260hp, some cars see more, less lag and lots more acceleration in all the gears!

Whats the figures of your car now after the map or is that why you`re going to Star to get a readout?

All LCR's should be remapped, the car deserves it. MPG doesn't change much if you drive it the same, and they run nicely at 260bhp. I can personally recommend REVO or Forge for a remap. Currently got the forge map and would probably go for this one again, it's so smooth but obviously a big increase in power.
