Booked my Leon in for it's first Service on Monday. 10,000 miles.

Obviously as I only gave them a weeks notice they didn't have a courtesy car. -1 point.

The guy on service reception took the keys and booked it in.

Got a phone call from them at 12.00pm, all finished, come and collect it any time. +1 point.

So I go over after lunch to pick it up. Walk into the showroom at 1.00pm. Little sign on the Service Desk says "Out to Lunch, contact Sales Team for Help." -1 point.

So I have a word with one of the sales guys. He says don't worry, he'll be back in a minute and walks out of the showroom. The other sales guy is on the phone. I wait for 15 minutes before loosing my cool and demanding some service. - 5 points.

Eventually got my keys back, paid the bill and got back to the car. Not washed, -1 point.

Got back to the house, and opened up the drivers pack. No service book. Not just they didn't stamp it, but no book. - 1 point.

Rang them this morning, "yeah there's a note on your file that we couldn't find a service book". So they have got me another one, and I have to go over and pick it up. -1 point.

So overall, I just paid a main dealer £150 to change the oil, oil filter and top up the washer bottle.

I don't think so. Not again.

I bought my Cupra from them new in September and had some issues.

Car was delivered in a disgraceful state, not washed and covered in marks, scratches etc and still had the sticky stuff on the foam door protectors are held on with. Few other issues but was also fobbed off with 6 months car tax which I had not agreed with or was told about.

Held my ground and got it all sorted with a free service, tank of fuel and extra 6 months tax.

Been in since to see about having the paint defect fixed on the tailgate and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to take a bloody picture.

I was hoping with it changing to Arnold Clark things might improve...

Can you PM me the details/address etc of this place you use matey?

I'll use Pattersons/Arnold Clark for my first service since it is free and would love to find somewhere better.

Is the one you use a Seat dealership? Good reputation etc ?

Cheers

John
