Hi All

I have had my car for a whole day now and NEED to ditch the chump valve- I was going to put the standard re circulating one back on but I havent got it in the spare parts box.

SO- what are they the same as so I can have a good search on flea bay and see if someone is selling one locally- or maybe go down the scrappers for one.

OR- can anyone recommend a GOOD replacement re circulating dumper- I hate the noise.

OR- has anyone got one local to Birmingham I cab have in exchange for a few beer tokens.

Cheers

That looks like whats already on the car- but it dumps to atmos and it leaks like a sieve.

I've took it off now and I am cleanng it as per the instructions on the forge site.

It looks fitted correctly to me.

I do have an induction kit with filter in the wheel well area.

i think thats were the woosh noise is coming from the air filter, when i ran an induction kit and forge dv007 it did dump quiet loud through the air filter, now i have the airbox back on theres no wooosh

Give me a few mins- I've just cleaned it up- it was quite gunky and very slack. It now seems a lot stiffer so may not leak air any more.

If thats the case it can stay on- the crap sound I can live with if its because of the induction kit- the air leak I cannot.

Right

It all seems good- its obviously dumping back through the air intake- I can live with that.

But I still have a high tickover-

Is the ISCV ( idle speed control valve) an issue on these cars or is there an idle screw.

Previous owner might have messed with it to compensate for the air leak?
