Just abit confussed on this on now allways thought it was a 4bar FPR for stage to but apparently you can use standard 3bar FPR now according to a revo dealer i went to and also rang revo and they said same so whats eveyr one else running you on a 4 bar or a 3 bar?

Back on a 3 bar now as they swaped it back because of over fuelling problem.

4 bar, coz thats what it supposed to be on.

iirc a 4 bar will deliver ~13.5% more fuel and i think your ecu will factor out 10% adaption so it can in theory run a 3bar but it might throw a long term lean code depending on your setup.

4bar FPR on revo stg2 for me.

I dont think you can use a 4bar Dan. Your map would have been wrote for a 3bar. I could be wrong but it would proberly cause you to overfuel.

maybe if there saying dont need 4 bar anymore, could try 3bar back on yours see if it makes a diffrence, mines better with 3 bar on but not as it should be still.

IMO you shouldnt just "try" 3 bar because if it runs lean then you are going to potentially damage the engine rather quickly.

Best option if you are having fuelling problems is to get a Lambda gauge (any tuning or rlling road place will do a test) and check the fuelling to determine what FPR you need.

As Phil said, if the 4Bar causes overfuelling then the ECU is meant to compensate, but if you are on a 3Bar that is running lean, then the ECU wont be able to add more fuel as it has effectively run out of steam.

I would stick to the 4Bar to be safe, and get the fuelling checked.

Im running Custom code phase 2 on a 3bar, could i put a 4bar on and then let the ECU configure itself or would the map need to be changed?

Hi Dan

Your car was mapped around the 3Bar so if you fit the 4Bar it will just cause over fuelling.

There is no real need to change the FPR on yours as there is enough fuel getting through :)

Mike
