it wont be a 220 if got 40mpg.

it would have been a ST TDCI by the sound of it, which is a 2.2 tdci with 155bhp and a 0-60 time of 8-9secs iirc

its the best way to appreciate your current car and thats drive something else

brakes on my ibiza have always bugged me that they never felt right in my opinion
new master cylinder/servo/abs unit/pipes/hoses/calipers/pagid pads you name it

been banging around the last month in a fiesta 1.1 4sp :p and moved the ibiza last night and just sniffed the brakes and nearly went through the windscreen - maybe they aint so bad i just need to slow down a bit :)

was it defo the st 220 3.0 v6 petrol then?
They crack 60 in 6.8

Easy way to tell is the engine noise. One is petrol ( ST220 as mentioned above) and the other is diesel (ST TDCI 155bhp). You can't compare the ST220 to the FR as its a bigger engine and different fuel burner!

Yes it was a 2.2 diesel, I would have gone bankrupt running a 3.0 petrol for 6 weeks :-0
