mines a 02 and is single, i suspect yours will be win as its a 07 looking at your other posts!, stick a pic up of the front of your car and i can tell you either way

either that or get some one tosit in the car, put your lights on and then flash your headlights, you should see 2 different bulbs being illuminated

Mines on an 52 plate with the twin headlights on
Would it not have been lower models that had these on?

That's it exactly.

On pre-facelift models all had single lamps, except if it was a Sport, FR or Cupra. The SE probably has a twin too, I know the Cordoba SE has them.

I rarely use my high beam with my Xenons to be honest.

Another point to note, is that using Xenon's to flash will shorten their lifespan, they're not designed to be rapidly turned on then off.

most single bulb HIDS have like a little cover that moves back and spreads the light beam as to flashing them from what i have seen any way!

Yeah that's normally how they work, the concerning thing for me is that if your lights are off or your using sidelights they will still have a quick blast of power then off again.

Perhaps it won't do any damage, but I've been told they can shorten the bulb life.

You could do what you want, makes no difference for me.

Just saying, if I had single-bulb lenses I wouldn't use HID's if I could avoid it.
