Hi,
My first post so excuse me if this has been asked before.

Got a LCR225. If I just put a de cat pipe on will I get any more power or do I need to completely upgrade the exhaust system?

Yep you will get more more power but you should do the whole system i think you will need to get it mapped so it will pass an emission test

you may also get a fault show up too as the second lambda sensor in the de-cat pipe will detect all the harmful emmisions that the cat should've taken care of. you can get the second sensor mapped out though.

welcome to the forum too!

really gaz?

the hotter the exhaust gases are the quicker and easier they flow through the exhaust and the 2nd lamda picks up on what i thought was the mixtures in it, but i can see what your saying though makes sense as decatting it makes it flow easier and presumeably more heat to

when your moving the gases are pushed out and thats that, when you stop you get heat soak, and the gases hang behind the car.

Best way to explain this on a really cold morning look at the back of your car theres a big cloud of exhaust gas hanging in the air as soon as you pull away you dont have it and you have an air flow passing under the car
