I had a free oil change on the Cupra done last week by a garage who kept me waiting on an exhaust and they said they only use Valvoline semi-synth as fully synth makes them tap.

Do I smell bs or is he right?

take your time and do it slowly,check and top up.it's probably not going to be much more than 4-5 ltrs.or measure how much you take out ;)

Well my 1.8T took around 4.5 litres, but not sure on the 1.4, well i suppose change the oil and refill but my cuzon beat me to it, think the moran put a little 2much, it slight smoking. :censored:
From 5 litre bottle, he used about 2.5 litres from it.

isn't that what the lines on the dipstick are for?


Yeh just want a rough idea how much litres it takes plus a rough idea how extra he put in, worse come, could drain the excess.
Going derby tomorrow, hope it burns out on the way :D
