Snoopie strikes again:lol: I wondered how long it would take;)
Your 370 odd posts all say the same thing ......JKM are best, everyone elses rollers are shite....Drivel :D

279bhp figures i think are a bit optimistic, it shouldn't be reading any more than 265 off of stage 1 mapping but hey ho, its winter and good inlet temps can be achieved. Rolling road lottery and all that :)

+20-30hp from JBS....Haha you're having a giraffe aint you, JKM are underpowered by a good 20hp for mapped cars.

You never have any proof of your claims! I love you, your the perfect brick wall to argue with!.. .So because JKM's rolling road doesn't give you the figures you want, it's faulty? You sir, are a true plonker!...

20-30hp higher than they should be? Open your eyes, check all other rolling roads, and see how they're always much higher.... But I suppose your too blind for that..:D

Mitchy, you've owned an LCR longer than I have, personally... I thought you would be a bit more experienced in this sector and should have seen it all.

You always seem bitter... Are you a derby fan? :D

Hi guys,

Hope that you are all good.
Ive just logged on today to avoid getting involved in the dreaded Xmas preperation, and I thought that id let you know the situation on some of the graphs you may have seen on our website.

The one below as refered to by Badger 5, The owner run the car on the day knowing that there was a problem with the setup. I have runs in my database at work with this car producing 320+BHP, The car made a return to Jabba shortly after this rolling road day where they spent a long time looking into the fault, turned out it was actually a suspected Turbo fault if i remember correctly  ouch!

AV52.gif

The one below, is running on a very restrictive intercooler set up, hence the flow restriction once it gets to 4500rpm. The owner knew that the intercooler was not the best design and actually suspected that this may limit his power, but he is happy with how the car drives on the road. For now anyway :)

DR02.gif

This one below, was running very well, and is a great car to drive although a bit of a handfull at times even after a peloquin diff being fitted. A very nice example.

Hope that this clears up some of the questions, sorry I dont know the exact spec of each of the the turbos above as I can only work off of the details that the customers give me on the Dyno day... i.e if they dont write much on the specification sheet, then I dont know!

Have a good Christmas... dont eat to much!

375 posts of drivel:clap:

I know that LCR's map higher than 230/5bhp, and im sure 99.9% of others do aswell. You are bitter because you had a 'problem' LCR and you troll this forum to cause arguments.

Not going to argue with you about it though:D

Plonker...Is that your best :D How old are you :D

Merry xmas snoopie ;)

Plonker isn't my best, keyboard warrior is though :p.....

I had a few problems with my LCR, that limited my power, but as JKM are here now, ask them... how many CTR's have hit over 260bhp on there rolling road. :D I suppose they're liars too.

Keith has commented on the IHI posted graphs, so explains what was seen on the day, to whatever spec was 'believed' to be on the car.

Have a great Xmas people..

any dyno can be corrupted topretty much show any figure within reason.
i have done alot of dyno work on bikes and we can just through the atmospheris changes get upwards or loss of 10bhp and depending on the force strapped down can increase figure or lose horses. biggest thing is the density of the atmosphere at the time and temp. bikes are kept in an enclosed room where we can control this and cars are not. jbs may or may not have had calibration done recently and it could have just been a cooler day ideal for the car and low atmospheric pressure which would help the figure.
does seem high mind....

You could argue all day about which rolling road is more accurate, and which isn't, but the true results are on the road in real life driving conditions.
Slagging one company off about their rolling road in favour of another proves nothing, except your loyalty to one company. Figures are bragging rights at the end of the day, but if you can't drive it properly, then they are no use to anyone.
If the OP is really concerned, then maybe he should save his money and get a different car with the figures he wants as standard?

Hi guys,

Just spotted this thread...

That last plot on the JKM post is my LCR making 324.4 BHP back in september. Out of interest I was back at JKM a week before Xmas and it was put on their rollers again.

This time it made 325.4 BHP. This day the weather was freeeezzzing (about +2 or 3 degrees) compared to about 21 degress in september. However JKM run the RR is shootout mode which corrects for temperature, humidity etc and the figures output are therefore calculated for some nominal atmospheric conditions. The fact that I got almost identical values on two vastly different days would suggest the RR's pretty well setup :). Jim reckons I was making more like 335 to 340 on the day if the correction wasn't applied :D

Out of interest we did a run with the boost being measured, it was peaking at just over 1.5bar at 4000rpm then dipping to just over 1.4bar up to around 6000rpm. Actually it has another peak of 1.5bar at 5700 which would indicate that it could be pushed a bit harder if wanted.

Ahhhha, the old atmospheric correction factors ehy! Good to see them working so well, gives you a bit more confidence in the results.
