For the first time in 42000 miles my inspection warning has started to flash in the display. It was only serviced a month ago. Any ideas as to why its flashing and how do i remove it from the display?

it's automatic, a mileage thing, sometimes the garage forgets to reset it

put keys in the ignition
hold down the trip button
turn the electrics on, then
(still keeping it pushed in) twist it to the right and
hold it there until --- appears on the trip screen. that should do it, worked for me anyway

you should try reading your owner's manual, it tells you in there :p

as pauliepaul said except it's the "reset" button for the trip computer and you need to hold it down for at least 10 seconds after you turn the electrics on ;)
