Jeez, I am like a kid with a new toy, but today I locked the car up, and had left the window open so held in the close button to see if it would close it like my old vxr did .... The mirrors folded in !!! and when I start it they fold out, no need to use the button on the centre console .... It tickled me ... and the windows closed as well, double bonus ... any way to make them fold when you lock the car normally though ??

Just remember not to do it when its a frosty night!! I did it and the mirror got stuck, luckily it stops trying to open and doesn't burn out the motor, but could be annoying!

Just ran out of the office to try this on my 56 FR ...works a treat. I asked the dealer if it could do this when I picked it up and they said no! lol

Nice one Bainie, thanks :funk:

you can always read the manual when you get the car ;)

I find the manual isn't very good and I'm not sure all the features are actually documented.

It's too generic for all the different specs out there too. Certain things only work with x, y and z options fitted.

This forum is a great source of advice, I didn't know I had headlamp washers until I was posting the people of here about it.

Think the large MFD gives you loads more features too...

Result..It works on sunroof, mirrors and windows.............how cool does it look.:)

Can you change the timing of the coming/leaving home lights using the MFD? The lights stay on too long after I lock the car.

Don't have manuals yet.:(

Just had a quick read through so may have missed if someone has already posted this but.............

Did you know that if you return to the car on a hot summers day and hold the button for a couple of seconds extra when opening the car it will open ALL of the windows to allow fresh air/cool down before you get in :D:D

Couldn't wait so just went and changed the light settings there.:D

Yet another question..........

Whats the passcode for the bluetooth. My phone can see the car but I don't know the code. If someone could even PM me it?

Do you just search for a device from your phone or select phone in the MFD then search for device from the phone?
