But, with the current exchange rate... (yeah, right).

I take it that's whp?

What would it make on 95/99RON? 400?

Edit: Also, I haven't done a side to side, but the manifold looks very similar to the 1.8T one...

I was wondering that, if that is the case it makes things easier for tuners if they can use 1.8T kits Turbo/manifold anyway!

I don't think they'll push it more than that Phil they might do a stage 3+ kit that will be 400+ These are meant to be bolt on kits to work with standard internals. There is more there, just look how flat the torque curve is! It does say it recommends strengthed internals for above 93 octane.

Yeah, now you mention it, the CAD Assembly Animation at the top of the page shows how the flange is different.

The runners looks very similar though.

Ouch, pricey.

We can offer the ATP TFSI Kit using GT3071 for nearly half that money.

Pricey maybe but it's a quality 'engineered' kit...you pay for quality in my book and you pay for long term reliabilty and delivery.

Most of the European kit's are very pricey especially from MTM and Sportec.

I expect it's pretty useful with nearly 400bhp....cheaper than a 911.

This is a complete kit, you won't need anything else. The ATP kit doesn't come with uprated FSI injectors etc or even software to run it for that matter. It has been proved that that fuel pump and injectors max out at around 270BHP so there are still things to do to reach the claimed power figure by ATP for the kit!

I drive the Golf GTI Edition30. The car has been remapped and it puts out around 300hp without fuel starvation. I would assume that the normal non 'S3' engined TFSI's may max out at 270hp.

Looking to put the ATP GT30 kit on the car next year, so time will tell ;)

APR haven't even officially released stage 3 or 3+ for the 1.8T after all these years in RHD form, Ianb is the only car I've heard of running an APR BT kit in the UK, even then the manifold is not an APR part. I waited years for a true bolt on BT kit to become available in RHD form ... still waiting. Star Performance have pretty much dropped the ATP kits because they are far from a true bolt on kit. APR have never been very interested in the UK. In Scotland there are zero kits out there for the 1.8T and nobody around who could make custom parts to fit something like a true GT28RS turbo.

The 200 ps 2.0TFSI max's out around 270. No one has played around with the S3 setup as yet. Well as far as I'm aware anyway. So the fuelling limits are still to be discovered.
