Not likely Brums - black centres and polished lip will require slightly more attention than I give the whites!

Now I've got the wheels themselves at last (it took aaaages didn't it Pat), I've got to get some new tyres, get some stretch going, and get my arches rolled - then I can finally get them on the car!

lol those white ones are a bitch to clean - i've done it twice now, some nice chunky spokes will be a joy by comparison. At least now you can polish the lip easily, no more toothbrush and scarred fingers!

They first came up a while back because the owner was selling her car, and I made an offer which was accepted. Problem was they were still holding the car off the ground! The buyer of the car was meant to be bringing a set of wheels to replace them, but pulled out at the last minute meaning the owner had to keep the wheels while she looked for some replacements.

I gave up hope, but then suddenly got a message saying she had found some and the Borbets were mine again :D

Very nice, they will look really smart on [B)]

They look like they came with tyres, whats wrong with those? Are you not going to wear those out and then get some stretched ones?

I do still like the while multispokes though, id like some for mine but not sure how it would look

They won't fit on the car with those size tyres on - 15x7 means I have to get some stretched tyres for them to fit in my arches. They're the same size as Craig's Zenders you see, so I can cheat and see what I have to do in advance by looking at his ;)

But those tyres are the correct size for my white wheels, and my winter wheels which I'm going to get them swapped onto once I have refurbed them. No tyre wasting going on here!

THATS EXACTLY what I meant , Pat.. Im glad I have the 'Rils for the sumer next year and I no longer have the Multi's I had on my old 'Red-shed'.... the standard rims can soak up the road salt over winter (they're badly scarred anyhooo so they cant really get too much worse )

I spent quite a bit on a nice alloy brush when I got my alloys, its was a meguiars one and utter rubbish. Bristles were too hard and was far too chunky. I bought a cheap one from tesco and was quite suprised as its perfect for doing my alloys - £3 bargain !!!
