yeah not heard good things about pipercross on these, i run a k&n with the forge 007 and it runs great pulls well and sounds loud

what k&n are you using cos been hearing mixed review's on them?

the 57i kit, comes with everything to secure it nicely and runs a dream. k&n used to oil the filters up too much causing the maf to go but they don't anymore. mine works perfect and pulls alot better on the lower rev range

No dude... t'other way round. PiperX foam, ITG, foam, RamAir foam

Green Cotton gauze, (lightly oiled), K&N, Jetex Response also cotton gauze (oiled)

I got a Piper X cone filter earlier this year and it killed my MAF after a day or so. Went back to standard airbox and got myself a Green Panel Filter and have never had a bit of bother. It cost me £££ to get a new MAF so it was't worth getting the Piper X. I might get myself a Green Cone now though.

Is it bad to drill the mk3 air boxes as done on the MK2s?

yep if it allows hot air to be drawn in.. better to spend your time enlarging the air inlet to you existing airbox and route something like an 80mm flexi pipe into it... you will be shocked when you see how small the intake snorkle is on the ibiza.. tiny..
