it will probably be ok if its a diesel as they are good for well over 100k. i like the wheels too. just make sure it has full servicehistory, n check for obvious accident damage and the likes!!

What kinda mileage will it do? It does seem alot but i like it. Dad says no though lol he thinks it too much...
That's impossible to say. You have to take every car on face value, regardless of mileage. 99k miles isn't a big deal these days. I bought a five year-old Golf GTI on 99k miles and ran it for six years and 80k miles with no problems what-so-ever.

I know of a H reg 405 Diesel that had done 250,000 miles when my dad sold it, and it still drives well today.
Diesel engines will live for ever if looked after, so if the service history is all good and it looks well looked after, grab a bargain ;)

Wow 250,000 lol i've asked about the service history awaiting a reply now.

strange that FSH isn't up there in the car's blurb . With a car of that age and mileage it's got to be one of the key issues - Go through the log book with a fine tooth comb .

And save yourself an extra £20 to get a new front number plate - that lettering's not legal you know...

I take it leather was an option on those models? Doesn't look familiar...

diesels will last as long as YOU want them to! change the oil every 6k once over the 100k mark and give it a full service on the 12k.

I know of a diesel VW Polo that had done over 350k and VW themselves bought the car back from the owner and gave him a brand new Polo. They wanted the engine to run tests on it.

You keep up with the regular oil change that motor will last a lifetime!

I don't see why the Diesel shouldn't get 200k if properly maintained.

One thing though. I may be generalising, but after market alloys like that, on that car, smack of young boy racer - e.g. ragged to a inch of it's life constantly.
