Should be upgrading the new disks this week as the MOT is over a month away. The front disk will be drilled and groved.

Abit stuck, on the brake discs sizes.

fRONT DISK

What size disk does my leon take (1.8T sports 2000).

Done a quick measure ment, it coming up approx 32cm (see pic). measured straight through the middle of the disc.

Rear

Does the rear disk look fine?

I know the pads will need changing for sure. but not sure on the disk?

wher the pad rubs it creates a lip as bill says basically the top outer edge of the disc will be alot fatter than the rest of the disc where the pad runs

The hand brake is crap, goes up to 3clicks, plus some time it rolls with hand brake on
So is the rear pads causing spongy brakes?

fit new pads... ~£35/set for good quality ones..
you adjust the caliper (need the wind back tool) to get just a little clearance to slide caliper over new pads, then you will likely find handbrake is much less movement
