you can take the black plastic bits off infront of the fogs, just take the screw out and pull. then you can just get straight in there.
I wish id got some pics when i did it, gutted i didn't. IT'd be so much easier to do it again now! and it looks so much neater when the ballasts aren't in the engine bay!

I have so many cuts.

The glove box light lackage has really annoyed me in the past, what are you putting in there? and where you wiring it too? like aimez says, its silly there aint 1, grrrr!!!!

Glovebox/Boot Light Info Here

The W8 light mod is also a good one. Looks pretty cool if you dont already have the anti-dazzle mirror with ambient lighting.

I couldn't see any screws to undo after removing the fog lights. Maybe different on the Cupra?

i took the screw out, then the plastic grill, then the bumper screw. The fogs came out in the bumper.

Whats the W8 light mod?

i wish you'd taken pics of the ballasts positions too!
Yeh all the part numbers and how to fit the boot/glovebox lights are on here somewhere i have all the part numbers written down I just have to wait untill next year to do it, no time/money now.
I don't live on a street, i live in the country so no street lights and at this time of year I can't see anything I want to get out of the boot it really bothers me.
