'TFSI' Badge Availability

Does anybody know how to get hold of the badges on either side of the Leon just under the wing-mirror that say "TFSI" (the 'T' is black and the 'FSI' in red)?

Only I've just bought a 57' reg FR and was very disappointed when I went back to the dealers to complain about them not being there, only to be told they had been discontinued and would not appear on new models. :(

my FR TDI didn't come with any badges (good!) particularly when my intentions were to do this to the rear....

These badges were discontinued for MY2008 along with the fag lighter.

I would have thought you could order them through the dealer?? Or ebay maybe.

Yea Im gonna give him a call tomorrow but just trying to find all possible avenues of enquiry! :D

Still think its a travesty they got rid of them in the first place, dealer said its awkward for them too cos they can't instantly distinguish between the TFSI's and TDI's just by looking at them when they're delivered!

Get em from your dealers Not ebay, they are often cheaper and you will get the correct ones too(both colour and size), they should be able to get a part number easily by just searching against a 2007 models registration number that was fitted with these type badges/decals. If your local parts chap knows what he is doing:rolleyes:

Why do you want the badge out of interest?

Just think it looks good. I had the old 2006 TFSI before it was replaced by the FR and that had the badges on it.

As i mentioned before i was really disapointted when i found out they'd discontinued them.

Fair enough, people either want badges or they don't. I personally don't like cars with all the badges taken off, think it takes away their identity.

But then I love the Aero bodykit [B)], which i can see is also a bona contention between Leon owners.

But at least this way everyone's cars are different, would be really boring if every Leon looked exactly the same!

Exactly! As it happens I don't like the bodykit either! I must admit however to being glad that I never removed the Cupra Badge off the bootlid of mine as I think it looks a little bare when there is nothing there.
