My cupra isnt boosting

Right i took the G/f to work this morning and after i drop her off i had a little sprinted drive on the way home anyway on 2nd at 3k and 5rpm it would not boost...

you can here the turbo spool but it just keeps climing slowly then at say 4rpm will boost then cut off..like its missing but when off boost and idling will drive fine with no EML dash light at all...

Would vagcom get it up?

Also when i got home and lifted the bonnet the small hose on top of the dv was bent over nearly closed would that couse anything?

unkink any hoses, If you hsve vag-com it would be worth a scan. Could be your N75?

My mate had this on his LC where the hose on the top of the dv was bent. Easily fixed tho just replace the hose and hey presto boost is back

Yeah the small hose on top of the dv was bent nearly closed so it could be that...gonna have ago at sorting it...

is still there just not as bad...When i went and tested it it was underpowered really bad then after 2mins of driving it starting boosting but not to the extent as it would normaly..

Took it on the motorway and footwas flat to the floor in 5th and 70mph and it wasnt moving...

So i put it in 4th at 70mph and stook my foot to the floor and off it went hard....
Then wen setting off u can feel it hestate badly then just boost to 4krpm then same again then so on..
Its like its holding back?

don't be touching the n75 unless it needs replacing pal, there really is no need to

have you checked over all of the vac hose, especially where you have bypassed the n249...everything connected up and no split hoses?

Nope mine has gone tits (twice) up but only when it comes on boost and my had the samre symptoms as yours

The EML will only come on if the coil is knackered constantly

****UPDATE****


Right me & Djscorch have just done the N249 bypass and its made a massive difference The turbo spool up is really loud and the Turbo chatter as gone completely...So its a nice loud TSSHHHH...

Also my boost gauge is reading correct aswell...
So anyway i went out in it for a 3min drive up the road to get some fuel and it was quality really changed the car...
But after i filled up and came back down the road it boosted fine in to 3rd gear then i came to the lights..

THEN NOTHING!

you can hear the turbo spool up really loud but the turbo dosnt kick in what so ever,...i did this in 2nd gear and it was like a 1.1 car tbh...

there no lights whats so ever on the dash...So has it gone in to limp mode?

P.s if i do it on normal boost its fine but if i really give it hard boost nothing..drives normal..just on boost.

It could be... I think you need to stop trying to guess and try and find some one with vag-com to scan for faults, if that doesnt bring anything up you`ll need to log the relivant blocks.

I`d start with block 115 and 002.
