me and corby have just been and put the cars on the rr . i have revo who quote over 200 bhp with the map and corby has one of angel tuning . mine is the 1.8 t and corbys is the fr tdi . corby got 165 bhp and just under 300 ft lb tourque and i got some strange results my first run hit 189 but the guy said the heat sensor had fallan ontop of thr rad . then every run after that it went down they did agout 8 runs and it went from 175 to 162 in the last three runs . i rang revo and the guy said it could be the diverter valve split and i should upgrade to the forge one . After the rr sesion we went for a spin to see how the two compare we raced from 40/50 on and mine kept slightly pulling on the tdi by a few car lengths but if the rr is correct surely the tdi should quite easly pull on mine 165 bhp and 300ftlb tourque against 162/175bhp and 225 ftlb especially racing from a rolling start where the tdi is at its best

shouldnt do in 4th you will get better grip

would the diverter valve being split give me these probs or would it be obviouse with the lack of power i would be getting . or should i just put it down to the dyno lottery as the car seems to drive fine and i am happy with the power

dyno lottery but if the diverter valve had spliti think it doesnt alow the turbo to boast up so power would be lost and ud notice it! was it a power run or static this time luke?

it was a power run how much would the forge valve cost and is it easy/ worthwile to do the turbo seems to boost properly all the time . and as i said surly if the figs are correct i should have got raped by the tdi

If they had to do 8 runs, in varying gears, doesnt sound too good.

I'd put it down to the RR/Operators.

Still upgrade to the Forge Valve for peace of mind :)

Is yours the FR? With the small side mounted intercooler?

If they did them back to back, thats not much of an oppertunity for the car to cool again... So could be heat soaking.

thats what corby asked it had been thrashed for twenty miles there put straight on the rollers and the runs were done without even a slight break which you can see from the vid

Shame about the results luke, the first run was good at 180 odd but it just seemed to get worse the more runs they did?!
