Dashboard surround....

Just a quicky guys...

Stole the image from another thread. The silver surround that goes round the top of the steering wheel and down by the radio etc - any idea what the part number for this is and how to remove it?

Would be an good improvement to brighten up the dull interior I think.

i was going to say mine has one looks the nuts with my red inteior light all glows up you could ask pete88 he has helped me find part numbers and gettin the parts at very good prices! Cupra Tdi engine cover on its way..

I know... a lad at work has a new FR and when we go out in his car it looks so much better inside than mines cause of a simple colored peice of plastic.

Good idea.

The last time I went in and told them I wanted the wing mirror covers for a 2004 Ibiza FR they asked for my reg, I told them to ignore that and just find the part - eventually gave them the reg and got into an argument as they said they wouldn't fit.

So out to the forecourt we went to compare the mirrors and he gave in and sold me them... I'll call up about that tomorrow if I find a part number I'll post it up here - need to poke around a bit to find out how to remove it though!

don't bother, mine has the silver and it is a PITA as it makes annoying reflections on the windscreen

I would get a black one if I thought it was an easy swap

I get that with my current one, the two centre vent bits are highly noticeable.

i dont get those that i know of, nor the aluminium look air vent surrounds...

I know I can get the aluminium vents but it more the surround I'm after.

Don't want the vents as they appear to be a nightmare to change!

both together brighten it up mate... not just one side all the way across.... looks good in my opinion but its ur choice

You might have a point there Rich... Just dread fitting them after reading all these posts full of whinges and suffering - lol.
