Well after searching the forum this might be a new one for some of the top dogs who know these cars inside out.
I installed the HIDs etc, usual problem of dash going ballistic but, after telling the wife not use side lights and just go straight to main beam problems kicked in after a couple of days.
The reason I said to go to main beam was to not worry her over the flickering of lights and dials until I had a chance to fit the relay's and re-wire as the threads have said.
However the problem is this. I haven't fitted the relay and wiring yet (week days an all!) but the dash is now not working at all? No lights, no mileage, no speedo, no fuel etc. With or WITHOUT the lighs switched on.
It remains dead.
I have checked the fuses under the dash (in the glove compartment) and none are blown. Does anyone know why this might have happened? More importantly does anyone know how to fix this little gremlin?
Obviously I wont rectify this until I have put the relays and re-wired the HIDS.
