I think you mean Volvo's, OMG you can't even spell! :cartman:

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=146477

Unfortunately you are showing your illiteracy again. I will explain:

1. Volvo - singular name for Swedish brick manufacturer
2. Volvos - PLURAL name for Swedish brick manufacturer
3. Volvo's - something that belongs to Volvo

I will go further to try and give you a grammar lesson:

1. Volvo's profits this year were good.
2. I own two volvos.

I made these two simple statements using the above CORRECT grammar and spelling, the same as I applied to my original post.

I suggest when you try and point errors out you get your "facts" right and if, as you say, you are correct how comes "saabs" isn't wrong as well???

Please see this link http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/ particularly point 3 which was your downfall.

Regards,

James

i think you'll find that you are both wrong on this.

There is no plural of Volvo as it is a brand. Therefore you would have to insert an objective complement. An objective complement is a noun that aids the description of another noun to make sense. So if you say "volvo" on its own, it only really means a brand or company name. it does not actually mean car. To signify this you would add the word "car" which would then itself becomes pluralised to form "Volvo cars".

I hope this makes sense dumb asses!

Also never heared of BSR, to be honest i would stay with experts on your car, not another brand

Seriously lads who the fook cars about spelling! You all know what he meant

:p

Now seriously im only messing, Jim i think you were wrong to correct kev in the first place in his previous post. There was no need for it really as we all knew what he meant. I dont really care about my grammer aslong as i get my point across and get some help/info. And im sure most of the other members are the same.

Again never heard of BSR, but you could always be a first to use them. You know what they say you cant knock it till you have tried it ;)
