Full beams will be hard to match.
Most are yellow no matter what colour the bulb. Halogen just lights up yellowish, no way around it.
Best to look for is a White bulb if you can find them, but most look yellow when compared to HID's

Really? Thats a bit of a pain. I think the philips blue vision will be ok for side lights. Is H1 fullbeam? I think there is also a philips blue vision for H1?

Without going hid they will always look yellow. you could of course buy 4500k hid bulbs to replce your 6000k's as they wont be as pure white :)
The superbright single leds look excellent and having bought around 5 pairs of different types serching for the brightest 5v bulb available have ended up with thee, although I bought them months ago for a lot less from ebay.

i really dont see what the need is for full beams to look the same as the hid's, cos no-one is going to see them looking less white. its not like people driving the oposite way will be annoyed that the light that is currently burning a hole in their retinas is slightly yellowish. i sort of know where your coming from but just think its not worth the bother.

Its just for my benefit, The white colour is really nice to drive with but when i put full beam on the white is over powered by the yellow. It would just be nice if it was more white?

Yeh, i'v broken one of the plastic clips on the passenger side, put a pen knife blade down the side to flip it out, and it snapped...Oops

I cant understand why people have difficulties with removing the sidelights.
I did mine recently and found it a doddle. Just pull em out

OK i'm no mechanic but found fitting the HIDs really easy. However i have been trying to change the sidelights for almost 20 mins and cant get the old one out!

Now i take it i am removing the black holder from the white holder by squeezing the 2 black clips together. But these black clips are flush with the white holder making it very hard to squeeze them, when i did manage to catch them nothing budged and i quickly lost my grip of them.

It is very frustrating and my hand is now bleeding :(

Has anyone got ANY tips? how hard is it to remove the whole headlight?

I asked the dealer to have a look while they were doing my brakes but said they couldnt cos theyre LEDs [:@]

Also i have now managed to make the sidelight not work - probably from my continual yanking of it.
