I've just traded my Mk5 golf in for a new Leon and had the same problem. Was promised rubber mats as part of the deal, but Seat Uk don't have them. I had some VW rubber mats in my Golf, which i took out. They fit perfect, but have Golf written on the drivers side.

The rubber mats on the spanish site Birdy are for left hookers aren`t they? Floor plan in the front will be all wrong and they won`t fit, Accelerator pedal and left foot rest:think: I had rubber ones on my mk1, got em on the ibiza too. had to make do with the standard material ones for now, they are a pain to cleap clean. When the rubber ones get dirty you can just scrub em, hose em down (dry em) and they look like new still.... I would be interested to see if you can get them from Ireland.........

Ahh, I have just looked on seat irelands site which links to the seat world site for accesories, which is where I have seen the mats before through seat spains site. So perhaps you are indeed correct. It doesn`t mention that they are only available for lhd,

Im looking to get a set of mats for my new Leon too... can someone comment on why they would prefer rubber mats to the cloth ones that the dealer sells, or is it simply a matter of the rubber ones are easier to clean? The rubber 'Cannon' ones that BeezerDiesel linked to are almost the same price as the dealer ones so not sure which to go for...

I think some people prefer rubber as it's so easy to clean them. I can't stand the feel of rubber under my feet so I've gone for carpet ones from eBay

just find them easier to clean really.

just to point out cannon rubber mats front pair = £35, golf front pair from vw = £25.

But cannon front AND rears = £40 dont know how they work that one out

like the sound of the loadliner for £25 though. gook link BeezerDiesel :D
