broken clutch pedal, quicker than a kwik fit fitter

It finally happened to me today, my girlfriend had her driving test today and left her paperpart of her license at our house (20 miles from the test centre) co i had to fly up and get it for her, half way home my clutch pedal snapped! of all the times. thankfully we managed to get the license to her in time

Anyway it broke at just before half 1, the tow truck came and got me and i was at my local garage by a bout 2 then my car a back on the road at 4 i couldnt believe it. I wasnt expecting it back til 2moro night.

so it wasnt as annoying as id been expecting it to be, other than the license part.

But i think that may have been the last straw, the rollercoaster that is owning an ibiza cupra might have beaten me, i think if i can get the ECU fixed, at last, the car'll be up for sale.

It should`nt do really i think garages charge a average of about £75. I done mine myself like a few people on here have and it costs the price of the clip which is 56p from the dealers.

if you can get a welder then your laughing, if you live near a local engineers they would weld it for pennies if you can get the pedal off yourself then just put it back together, took me a wee while though

Luckily my plastic clip survived and pinged up into the back of the stereo unit, it took me ages to figure out where it went

cost me £50 to get fixed and £50 to get it towed back home (the garage is on my street), alot better than i had expected.
