1.9 tdi info

a friend is selling a 1997 seat ibiza 1.9 tdi
He says its standard 130 bhp

I cannot find any information about these cars!
Can this power figure be right? i see that you can get 90 bhp but 130???

any help is great

it'll be a 90bhp. same as the mk2 golf gtd. i think the mk3 biza may of had the 110bhp motor but not sure

Yeah on a 1997 all you can get is 90 as standard. Seen remapped ones with a few other tweaks around the 130 mark

yep correct the TDIs in the UK for the mk2 market were only 90bhp models. In europe you could get a 110 GT TDI. In the UK the late model mk3s had the 110 engines (as mine) but were only imported for 6 months before the change over to mk4.

It wont be standard 130, unless they have done a engine swap with a PD 130.
