1.4 16v Sport?

Anyone really heard of these?

I am not sure what years you can this model in but I would be very interested to know if someone could help me out. I have checked online on the likes or parkers but they just seem to confuse me...

Also I have been looking to buy one and can't find that many at all...

I have a new Formula Sport 1.4 100BHP. Good little car, came from a 3.2 V6 TT and still lovethe Ibiza to bits. handles well.

Dont the latest sport models have 85bhp? (The formula sport is a special offer and not part of the standard range, I think).

The early 1.4 16v sports (52-04??) had 100 bhp and were fully loaded with climate control, full elecs etc. I had one on an 03 and it was very good. These were later replaced by the 2.0 115 bhp sport which was then phased out.

The car I'm looking for is the 03 model with 100hp as standard.

Anyone selling theirs let me know please

Yeah I have the fully loaded one as well, except for electric wing mirrors.
The only thing is, it's only spicy above 4000rpm

Don't think the MK3 ever had the 1400 16v - it did have a 1.6 8v sport though with 100 bhp. Probs isnt as economical as the 1.4. I used to get 43mpg out of mine...which wasn't half bad.

I've just been looking at the 1.6 sport as well now. Could be another possibility...

Well I am getting around 33mpg in my 1.4mpi... So anything better than that, that is faster, then I'm chuffed!!

Got the 85 version. Bored of it now already lookin at different motors. For the money its the best car in its class IMHO.
