Hi All.

Went to halfords today to have a parrot bluetooth kit installed, and two ametuer lads tried to remove the stereo.

For some reason they tryed removing the trim around the climate control at the top with a screw driver and damaged that, and also damaged the trim around the stereo. Also, they have slipped on the piece of trim that sits around the speedo and everything so very unimpressed!!

Was just wondering if you knew how much these trims are, as my local seat are taking ages, also i got the kit installed by another company, as halfords needed an additional lead.

Anyway, in the end i showed them this site and they managed to remove the stereo, once the damage had been caused!

That's a mare. I'd defo be complaining. It's amazing how often people who you leave your car with will damage it. I've had two wheels damaged by 3rd parties.

Hopefully halfords will fix the damage....

Yeah. Need to contact seat monday for prices, but i aint even letting halfords do the work now, as i have told the manager to cancel the fitting.

Its such a shame when you spend so much money on a car (weather it be second hand or new) people just come along and take no care!

I used the Halfords kit as at the time I understood there was a problem with the factory fitted kit. I got my local dealer to remove the panel before Halfords fitted it. It took then 21/2 hours to fit and said they would never never evey fit another one to this type of car. Nice job any very impressed with it.
