Have you been mapped? I have been told that the torque/revs reading is pretty damn accurate when standard but not after a map. Since the BHP is calculated from the torque then this will also be pretty accurate pre map.

Good way of comparing. - see how much is the reading off by.
Funny thing happened when doing my 3rd gear run, bumped into Renault Clio Cup version 172 as he taught he could dust me :censored:, he had the slight advantge due to my turbo lag but i was glued to his bumper all the way. Geza was shocked. [B)]
Had to start my log again as for got the press start. Overal i do expect some good figures but nothing mind blowiing

Longman and I vag-comed mine a few weeks ago, 3rd gear run to red, and bearing in minds it's not mapped and only has the smoothed airbox and forge 007p...

It came back with a figure of 179.9bhp @ 5680 rpm

not too bad for a stockish 20vt, me thinks :D

I'm a bit down on the specified torque at only 185.2 from 235, but it is 5 years old i spose only done 35k tho....

I think a remap's in order early next year
