Yea its about my car that is goin in 2moro for warranty work ..... want 2 know exactly what they will be doing

why not just post the question?

You don't need to work for SEAT to know what they'll do... but a fair few people that work at dealerships also post :)

Yep it sounds like it could be possible. I work for BMW and we do this sort of stuff all the time.

Can I ask why you think you being strung along??

I just have a thing about people not trusting garages.

I wouldnt take people's distrust personally, there are plenty of garages out there who rip people off and its human instinct to be cautious and untrusting. It gives good mechanics and garages a good name.

For instance, the clutch went on my missus car last week and she rang a few garages to get a quote and find out when they could book it in. Nationwide auto centres quoted £450 quid and said they would need the car for two days (this is a 1.4 petrol pug 206), was eventually done for 250 by my local auto centre the next day and very helpful and friendly they were too.

Na just the same as every other car i use the diagnostic plug .... even when on non franchise cars .... use a machine called the launch and reflex .... so just wanted 2 hear it straight from a tech if an update would fix the faults and 2 ease my mind that ma car wont be ripped apart for just an update lolol
