Ive got a scorpion cat back on mine, bought the blueflame downpipe/sports cat which works well, did need a bit of modding though and ive got them welded into one piece now.

Should fit ok mate, theres always a way. Get the downpipe, measure the ends of both the downpipe and your cat back, and get a connector made up. You'll probably find all you'll need is a 2.5" straight connector. (available from merlin motorsport for £5.70). Recently mated my Jetex CAT back to a Blue Flame downpipe and that was all that was needed.

Cheers for the advice lads. It seems then that if your not running the Miltek catback then a blueflame downpipe is the one to go for. Blueflame are make custom exhausts dont they?

Where abouts are blueflame located? Are they a national thing or is there only one branch?

Just checked their website, they are based in skelmersdale which is a bit of a mission for me!

So when you ordered your downpipe, all you had to get was the connector from merlin?

Was that bolted together? Or welded?

Just got that sleeve and two matching exhaust clamps (in stock) and bolted it all up with a bit of sealant paste :)

How long do they take to delivery/make the downpipe?

I nearly bought a 3" decat downpipe from them the other day.

After talking to Nigel, a few days later they called me when they had one in stock. Was a 3" downpipe with 200cell CAT. (As they dont do 100cell anymore) Delivery was very quick too.

Also just to DP did you notice any difference once the downpipe was fitted?

Ive currently got a Forge TIP, Remap, filter etc and got a FMIC coming soon

Turbo spooling is much quicker, on full boost by 3000rpm now. When boost peaks in 2nd gear the wheels start spinning. Definatley a noticeable difference. Throttle response has improved too, and boost comes in a lot harder now.
