Does anybody know if the horn in the 1.4/sport/cupra sound the same?? I jus nearly went into the back of a merc cos the silly sod pulled out infront of me, i was about 150 yards from the junction while i was doing 60!! But kinda realised my horn is really 'nancy' sounding?? I might aswell've been in a austin metro! The guy infront was probably laughing at me If theyre the same i wont feel so bad, otherwise im guna fit a ships fog horn to it!!

No the horn on the cupra is diferent to the 1.4's as they have to high powered horns but im not sure about the sport's.

Yeh it should be easy to do mate just source a high power horn and it'l be a straight swap over for yours. Should find it located in your passenger wheel arch

It was a little box that sat under your dash and it had these buttons on. There were 5 animal noises it could make and 5 sirens and it also had a microphone attached so you could soeak through it. The speaker was in the engine bay

Cant remember for 100%, it was a car place online, I think something like extreme auto accesories. Ill have a hunt and see if I can find it, try searching on google for car horns or air horns and it should be on there somewhere

Oh yes, liking the sound of the triple air horn! lol. Seriously tho does the cupra horn sound meaty enough, or is it a high pitched peep noise?
