I have pics of them m8, but need to get them onto my pc. If i get a chance, i will get them up tomorrow night (round the gf's at the mo).

I've got the autogauge gradational series from halfrauds...they match the lcr dials really well, and illuminate in a very similar way too. Best match overall for the price i reckon.

I also have the nomad double pillar pod.

I have still got to do the "plumbing" for the boost gauge, and the wiring of the temp sender, but the wiring for both gauges illumination is all sorted.

finally got round to getting some pics up! They aren't very gd, but the best i could do quickly.

The boost gauge is plumbed in and works a treat. The pipe that came with the gauge was so close to not reaching! I had to reroute it a couple of times to save on length to make it reach!

Just got to get the temp sender fitted now then all done. I tested the temp sender and appears to work fine, so just gotta get it in!

As for the illumionation at night, they illuminate almost exactly like the standard dials...so don't be fooled by the pics!

what is the benefit of knowing what boost you are running?? how does it help?
is it just to know that the turbo is ready and warmed up, cus it seems like a lot of messing about to me??

i remember a mate of mine had a pulsar and he had loads of guages and things wizzing and extra dials moving in the car and at first it was like star wars then after about 5 mins it all seemed a bit gay...

Is it a bit gay to know when your oils up to the right temp?
Is it a bit gay to make sure that you don't have a boost leak, any boost spikes or over boosting?

No, its not.

oil temp i can appreciate.

but i can only imagine feelin like a total prat explain to a girl that these extra dials all going off while i try to make conversation are to make sure i dont suffer from boost spikes or over boost... yes, gay, very.

but then each to there own, im sure there are plenty of gay lcr drivers and more POWER to ya!! :funk:

Over boosting is bad news. Like any gauge it provides the driver information about what the engine is doing. Everybody to there own, but they are cerntainly not gay!!! A rev counter is not needed, so that must be classed as gay!!!

Dave, what route did you take from the DV?

I routed mine behind the heat shield and through where the bonnet release cable goes....however i drilled a seperate hole nearby (into the plastic under the scuttle panel)

It was extremely tight but it reached!
