Digit missing on climate control screen?

Hi people,

A part of one of the large digits is missing on the climate control screen, any tips on how to fix it, or will it have to visit seat?

Turn the mileage reset knob either left or right.

Keep an eye on e-bay or local scrappies for a 2nd hand one , mine started with bit`s missing then the screen "bled" in . It all works ok , just looks crap

Before you spend out, have a quick search on here and have a look at the removal guide. It is easyish to take out. Would be worth checking it's all securely plugged in and cleaning the contacts. If it's still not working then yes a new one is needed. Don't think anyone managed to find a place to repair the LCD screen part. Dealer prices for new is a couple of hundred. Some people have picked them up 2nd hand from ebay for £80 or maybe less. Try a local scrappy too as said.
