Modifications and warrenty - suspension

had my ibiza for a couple of months and want to lower it, suspension kit/ or coilovers, haven't decided yet depends if I can get the cash for the coilovers.

If I get the garage (seat) to fit them will the car be under warrenty as it is only three months old, or what parts wont be. As I went to the garage/dealer today and they couldn't give me an official answer.

As I have no cash cant afford to void the warrenty at all

Wondered if anybody has had any experiance of this.

It doesn`t make any difference who fits the parts the warranty on your suspension will be void but everything else like the engine,interior,exterior etc warranty is still OK. The modified part only effects the area it is fitted to so suspension would be maybe wheel bearing,bushes, top mounts etc nothing major.

I just been through a warrenty fight as i have only had my car 6 months and the chassic broke but seat put it down to all my mods combined to brake the chassi lol
