Can anyone recommend a replacement tyre for my FR 130, currently got the standard 205/40 R17 P Zero Neros on and wondered if there was anything out there with the same amount of grip but with a little less bloody noise.

Marangoni Zeta Linea's seem quite good. I got them put on almost 10k miles ago and they are still going strong. Gonna see how long they last and perhaps go for the same again next time.
I think they were about £120/pair or thereabouts.

Toyo Proxies - Avon ZZ3 - Eagle F1 GSD-3 - Pilot Exalto PE2's

All good tyres in my experience, Avons and Toyo's are fairly cheap, Goodyear is middle-ish, and the Michelins are definatly top spec (and stupid prices!)
