When doing my under the bonnet checks last weekend i found that there was a coating of oil around the nearside boost hose (the one that goes from the intercooler to the throttle body).
The car is revo'd stage one. Had a look around but there doesn;t seem to be oil on any other parts in the engine bay. Any suggestions or previous experiences before I take it down the garage for a closer inspection?

Inside the hose is normal.
Outside hose, probably a drip from last top up/fill.

but if he has cold side relocation and split r of bov then it can splatter some of oil from inside outside through the valve

I thought about that because it is only on this hose and nowhere else. Wont be happy if its the hose because its a forge one. Will tighten the clips and clean it up then try again, thanks people i'll keep you posted.

Oh no! think it may be more than just the pipe. I took the engine cover off for closer inspection and saw some greasy dirt build up round the edge of the head gasket. Cleaned up as best i could and have run the car for a few days. Checked again tonight and there is what looks like oil in one of the spots i had wiped clean on the side of the block. Also there looks like there has been something leaking from the injector nearest the near side of the car. I think i'm going to have to throw the old airbox back on and take it back to the dealers as it's in warranty until march :cry:
Not holding out much hope as i've been waiting for nearly two weeks to see if they are going to sort out my near side brembo caliper which the lacquer is peeling off.[:@]

When you say round the edge of the head gasket, do you actually mean the rocker cover gasket, Craig? (Head gasket is below the level of the bottom of the inlet manifold).

Ok dave cheers for that i'll get on to them, do you think i need to fit the original DV before taking it in? Not going to bother changing the front boost hoses back as i cant see how they can blame them for any problems.
